Polynet

Polynet Products Limited is a New Zealand family based company that imports a range of quality knitted polyethylene and extruded polyethylene netting products from Northern Italy. The company was formed in 1988 to import round bale netting and supply this to New Zealand farmers and contractors. Polynet Products Limited was the first company to import this new product in volume and make it widely available throughout New Zealand. Over the years the range of products has increased to include incredibly versatile and unique crop covers such as Mikroclima.

More recently Polynet Products Limited has become involved with the viticulture industry, promoting a new system of bird protection, using light-weight low-cost knitted sidenetting to enclose just the fruiting zone of vines. This system was improved markedly in 2001 with the development of the new and innovative Polynet SideNet with a reduced chain width, to exclude the smallest of birds, be longer-lasting and easier to handle.
