Returns and Exchange Policy

  1. The Customer has specific legal rights under New Zealand Consumer Law in respect of goods and services purchased from EasyTek ("Consumer Guarantees").
  2. EasyTek is committed to customer service and customer satisfaction. In addition to the Consumer Guarantees, we provide a 30 day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee with our products which allows you to return or exchange a product within 30 days. Certain conditions and exceptions apply. Please read below for details.

30-Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee

The 30-day period starts when you receive the product. If you decide to return a product purchased from us during the 30-day period we will gladly refund the purchase price less any shipping charges (if any). A restocking fee may be charged on some returns and exceptions apply. Read below for details.

  1. Presentation of the purchase receipt and a return authorisation number are required for all returns. Please contact us to obtain your return authorisation number before returning any goods. Returns without valid return authorisation number will incur a minimum 15% restocking fee.
  2. Refunds are made if the goods are returned in original and resalable condition with all packaging, manuals and registration cards included.
  3. Some items are not returnable under any circumstances. See 'Exceptions' below for details.
  4. Returned items that are missing parts or are not in new or in resalable condition may not be accepted by us or will be charged a restocking fee at our discretion (minimum restocking fee 20%).
  5. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.
  6. Damage due to improper packaging or loss of goods is at the risk of the Customer and may result in the refund being declined. We recommend using a track and trace shipping option only. Track and trace is available from most freight companies.
  7. We cannot accept returns after 30 days.

Some items are not returnable under any circumstances. These include all consumables (i.e. batteries, glue boards, fluorescent light tubes, insect baits and lures), all special purpose goods (i.e. customized hardware and/ or software) and special order goods.

Damaged Goods

All items are thoroughly checked before dispatch. Our couriers and freight contractors cover all items. If you find an item being damaged please contact the courier company immediately. Claims for damaged items must be made within 3 days of delivery date.
